Before using

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is time for the next dose, skip the previous one and return to your regular schedule.
Cautions
Diflucan may change the effect of birth control pills and they may not work properly.
Discuss with your doctor all the risks of taking Diflucan if you plan to become pregnant.
Do not take seldane (terfenadine), hismanal (astemizole), or cisapride while taking this medicine.
Diflucan passes into breast milk that is why it is not recommended to breast-feed while taking it.
Do not start taking any over-the-counter medicines without consulting with your doctor.
Possible side effects of Diflucan
Side effects are unlikely or they usually go away quickly after beginning of the treatment.
Serious side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, or rash. Check with your doctor as soon as you experience them. Less serious Diflucan side effects may include: nausea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness.
